F.R.I.E.N.D.S. for True Relationships

Friends

A true friend knows your weaknesses but shows you your strengths; feels your fears but fortifies your faith; sees your anxieties but frees your spirit; recognizes your disabilities but emphasizes your possibilities. ~ William Arthur Ward

There are many ways to be a friend. The simplest way is to be one:

·       Forgiving: To forgive is to free from anger, bitterness, resentment, depression, and other negative emotions. Practice gratitude to forgive gracefully and get a piece of mind.

·         Reassuring:  To be a true friend is to show encouragement and support. You motivate the other person to go beyond what he or she can do.

·         Interesting: A true friend is someone you can share jokes and laugh out loud. Friendship is for happiness.

·         Empathetic: How to be a friend if you are not interested in the other person? To be a friend is to share happiness and as well as sorrow. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

·         Natural: Friendship develops naturally. It is easygoing with no strings attached.

·         Deliver: To be a friend is to be trusted. When you promise, you must deliver. If you cannot do it, don’t force yourself to make promises, your friend will understand.

·         Sincere: Sincerity is about truthfulness and honesty. There is nothing to hide. Your friend will accept you as you are with the good and the bad sides of you.

Wishing to be friends is quick work, but friendship is a slow ripening fruit.
Aristotle
