Zig Ziglar

Zig is one of the greatest and most successful authors and motivational speakers in the world. He has a wonderful family and he enjoys robust mental and physical health. What are his secrets to success? I believe these 7 factors contribute to his success in life:

 1. Belief in God: He is a firm believer in Christianity. There is a quotation on the wall behind his desk: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28 He knows spiritual fulfillment is one of the delightful sources of happiness. He is capable of mixing religion to produce classic motivational books. He believes in the application of Bible principles in achieving success in life.

 2. Money: According to him,” Money may not be the most important thing in the world, but it’s fairly close to oxygen.’ He likes the things that money can buy but he loves the things money won’t buy.

 3. Taking care of physical health: He is an avid jogger and an enthusiastic golfer. According to him, people with better physical conditions perform better than those who are less healthy.

 4. Continuity of growth mentally: To keep himself sharp mentally, Ziglar reads voraciously as he says that learning something new is both inspiring and motivating. According to him,” Reading is important because it gives you a competitive edge.

 5. A genuine interest in other people: This is one of his favorite sayings,” You can have everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.

 6. Consistency and persistency: This quote from him tells it all, “This I do know beyond any reasonable doubt. Regardless of what you are doing, if you pump long enough, hard enough and enthusiastically enough, sooner or later the effort will bring forth the reward.”

 7. Positive mental attitude: These are two of his famous quotes,” Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude,” and “If you don’t see yourself as a winner, then you cannot perform as a winner.” “

I believe that being successful means having a balance of success stories across the many areas of your life. You can’t truly be considered successful in your business life if your home life is in shambles, “says Zig Ziglar.
